Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practices including using pharmacy systems, obtaining patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients, greets them, offers assistance, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items, handles transactions, manages inventory, and maintains store appearance.
• Supports pharmacy activities such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Training & Personal Development

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification are preferred.
