Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
- Engages customers, resolves issues, and offers assistance to ensure a positive experience.
- Recommends items and assists with inventory management, merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Supports pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, verifying medicines, and ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
- Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up responsibilities.
- Follows all policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Participates in training, maintains certification, and updates knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, PTCB certification.
