Responsibilities

1. Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
2. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
3. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
4. Engages customers, resolves issues, and offers assistance to ensure a positive experience.
5. Recommends items and assists with inventory management, merchandising, and store maintenance.
6. Supports pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, verifying medicines, and ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
7. Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up responsibilities.
8. Follows all policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
9. Participates in training, maintains certification, and updates knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy practices.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, PTCB certification.
