Customer Service

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.

Pharmacy Assistance

• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Engagement

• Greets customers and patients, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion products.
• Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; assists in locating products.
• Maintains cleanliness and merchandising of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and records transactions.
• Supports pharmacy duties such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and checking for interactions.
• Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to company policies, including pharmacy error and quality programs.
• Follows policies regarding Good Faith Dispensing.
• Handles non-urgent telephone calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties.
• Supports inventory management activities and maintains knowledge of asset protection techniques.
• Ensures compliance with laws on regulated products and constructs displays as directed.
• Assists with product placement, stock rotation, and store maintenance.
• Provides photo services, web order fulfillment, and assists with store appearance.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
