Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist under supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and processes prescriptions in accordance with regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends items and assists with product location.
- Handles transactions, including voids, refunds, and exchanges; maintains cleanliness and organization of shelves and counters.
- Supports pharmacy duties such as entering patient information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with workflow.
- Reports prescription errors immediately, complies with pharmacy policies, and adheres to legal and safety standards.
- Handles telephone inquiries, processes third-party claims, manages inventory, and maintains compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Constructs displays, assists with product placement, and manages stock rotation and store cleanliness.
- Provides photo services, web pick-up support, and assists with store maintenance and policy adherence.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Additional Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
