Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
- Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
- Handles register operations, including processing sales, refunds, voids, and exchanges, and assists customers in locating products.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and ensures proper merchandising.
- Supports pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information, assisting in prescription filling, verifying medications, and checking for interactions under supervision.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to company policies regarding pharmacy safety and quality.
- Handles non-urgent pharmacy calls and processes third-party claims efficiently.
- Supports pharmacy inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and maintains compliance with asset protection policies.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products, such as alcohol and tobacco.
- Constructs and maintains promotional displays and assists with store resets and product placement.
- Supports store maintenance and cleanliness, including food safety practices and stock rotation.
- Operates store systems and equipment knowledgeably.
- Provides photo services, including passport photos and promotional products, and manages web order pickups.
- Assists with store upkeep and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completes assigned tasks and special projects as directed.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
- Stays informed about healthcare and pharmacy developments.
Additional requirements include fluency in English and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
