Account Executive - EdTech/HR Assessment

Assessment Systems Corporation (ASC) is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to advance our growth. The ideal candidate will identify, engage, and close partnerships with professional boards, licensing bodies, and organizations that administer high-stakes exams. Your focus will be on recommending flexible, cost-effective exam delivery solutions that enhance the experience for test-takers and administrators.

The role involves uncovering new opportunities through soft outbound connections and demand generation activities, such as outreach for webinars. For straightforward software sales, you will close deals independently; for more complex psychometric solutions, our PhD psychometricians or product experts will assist.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and target prospective certification boards, licensing authorities, and testing organizations.
  2. Engage with our database of 10,000 past inbound leads.
  3. Source new opportunities on LinkedIn and other platforms, often through recommending free resources.
  4. Send targeted outbound emails to leads, such as competitors' clients or industry association members.
  5. Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers.
  6. Conduct product demos and sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  7. Communicate the value of our online exam platform, emphasizing scalability, security, and affordability.
  8. Collaborate with product and customer success teams for onboarding and satisfaction.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends to provide relevant recommendations.
  10. Develop strategies to accelerate revenue growth.
  11. Meet or exceed sales goals and pipeline metrics.
Inbound Activities:
  1. Qualify inbound leads based on geography and expertise.
  2. Understand client needs and our products to recommend solutions.
  3. Schedule and conduct product demonstrations.
  4. Respond to inquiries about our software and services.
  5. Recognize when to involve other team members.
  6. Provide pricing proposals, formal for larger deals.
  7. Follow up consistently with leads.
Brand Cultivation:
  1. Maintain a strong social media presence.
  2. Network at professional conferences.
  3. Explore new growth areas like partnerships and market fit.
  4. Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media and blogs.
  5. Represent the company at industry events.
Administrative:
  1. Manage sales pipeline.
  2. Log opportunities in CRM.
  3. Provide weekly reports.
  4. Achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years in enterprise SaaS sales, preferably in assessment.
  • At least 1 year in outbound B2B SaaS sales.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Self-motivated with deal-closing initiative.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Zoho CRM and Campaigns.
  • Experience with growth tools like SalesHandy.
  • Active professional social media presence.
  • Knowledge or experience in high-stakes testing.
  • Ability to work independently remotely.
  • Willingness to learn and update skills.
  • Experience with exam delivery and proctoring software.

Position Details:

Fully remote, preferably in the Americas. Pay rate is $20/hour plus commissions, with an $80k OTE for full-time.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Remote work using standard office equipment. Physical activity includes talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling, and reaching.

Hours & Travel:

Typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. Some flexibility needed. No travel required.
