Job summary

Walgreens in Fairborn, Ohio is seeking a Customer Service/ Pharmacy Support team member to deliver friendly, efficient service at checkout and assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions.

You will operate the POS and pharmacy systems, handle inventory, and help maintain a clean, organized store while following all safety and compliance guidelines. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills, computer skills, and knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Model and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Maintains counters and shelves, checks in and prices merchandise, and supports inventory.
• Supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management, entering patient and drug information, and ensuring workflow.
