Job summary

Walgreens in Ohio is seeking a Customer Service Associate / Pharmacy Clerk to provide friendly checkout, assist pharmacists under supervision, and help customers locate items. You will operate the cash register, process transactions, and support pharmacy operations with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean shelves, suggesting items, handling returns, and supporting inventory and labels. Prior retail experience is preferred; PTCB training is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescriptions counting and weighing.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Possess knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on the assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists in dispensing and entering patient information under supervision.
• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommends items and trade-up/companion items.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised and maintains inventory records.
