Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a pharmacy associate to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register and assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions. You will engage customers, support inventory and merchandising, and help maintain a compliant, patient-focused pharmacy workflow.

The role requires fluent English, a flexible schedule (including evenings/weekends), and willingness to learn in a retail environment. Previous Walgreens experience and a PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing prescriptions and handling medications.
• Provide courteous, efficient checkout service and assist customers.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised.
• Process clerical tasks and pharmacy-related records.
• Assist with inventory management and store operations as needed.
