Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at checkout.
• Registers customer purchases and handles returns and exchanges.
• Assists pharmacist by entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; inventory and pricing duties.
• Supports Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist with workflow and prescription processing.
• Reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to policy.
