Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team-oriented individual to deliver friendly, efficient checkout service and assist pharmacists under supervision. You will help process prescriptions, maintain clean shelves, and support inventory and store operations.

The role emphasizes customer experience, accuracy in counting and dispensing, and adherence to company policies. Prior Walgreens exposure and PTCB certification are preferred; evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision and process prescriptions.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves.
• Handle cash register, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with workflow.
• Assist with inventory management and order processing.
• Provide photo area service and web order pick-up.
