Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate to engage customers, offer product help, and ensure a delightful shopping experience in a pharmacy and general merchandise environment.

The role involves cash handling, assisting pharmacists, maintaining stock, and supporting pharmacy operations including prescription entry and inventory management. Experience in retail and strong math skills are preferred; PTCB certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the store.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify medicines for accuracy.
• Assist pharmacists with inventory management, ordering, and stock rotations.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and third‑party claims processing as needed.
• Maintain displays, signage, and price accuracy; assist with photo area services and web order pickup.
