Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-oriented associate to deliver excellent checkout service and assist pharmacists under supervision. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, and help with product location and promotions, while supporting pharmacy operations and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions and entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Recommends items for sale and assists customers with locating products; handles returns, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise as directed by management.
• Provides customer service in the photo area by assisting with digital passport photos, poster prints, and promotional photo products.
• Assists with inventory management, stock rotation, and shelf replenishment following company policies.
