Job summary

Walgreens in South Elgin, IL is seeking a Pharmacy/Customer Experience team member to deliver courteous checkout service while assisting pharmacists under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and ensure accurate patient and drug information handling.

Responsibilities include inventory, merchandising, and supporting pharmacy operations, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Prior Walgreens exposure and PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of retail experience; Walgreens experience preferred; basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers with products and services.
• Handle cash register transactions, returns, exchanges, and assist in OTC product location.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising, restock shelves, and support inventory checks.
• Support Pharmacy Department with inventory management and entering patient and drug information.
• Adhere to store policies and procedures and maintain professional conduct.
