Job summary

BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy, part of Elevance Health, seeks a Pharmacy Customer Associate I in Indianapolis for a hybrid schedule with in-office 1-2 days per week. You will respond to basic customer questions about retail and mail-order prescriptions by phone and email, while coordinating with internal teams to resolve requests promptly.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior call center experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and experience in an automated customer service environment.
• Medical terminology familiarity is preferred.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer questions via telephone and written correspondence about pharmacy retail and mail orders.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with internal functions to resolve requests promptly.
• Interact with customers to provide claims, customer service, and membership support.
• Research to provide proactive, thorough solutions and ensure high quality resolution.
• Guide customers on options and help them navigate technology and resources.
