Position Title: Pharmacy Customer Associate I

Job Description

The Pharmacy Customer Associate I is responsible for responding to basic customer questions via telephone and emails regarding pharmacy retail and mail order prescriptions.

Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy.

Work Schedule: We are hiring for all shifts, including weekends and holidays (40-hour shift Mon-Sun from 6:00 am - 9:00 pm EST). Training will be conducted Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm EST for 2 weeks. Candidates in CST and EST time zones are preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relations, ensuring requests are handled and resolved promptly.
  • Interacting with internal and external customers to provide claims, customer service, and membership support.
  • Conducting necessary research to provide proactive solutions.
  • Owning service requests to ensure high-quality resolution and follow-up.
  • Guiding customers on their options and helping them become confident in using available technology and resources.

Minimum Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent and experience in an automated customer service environment, or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences

  • Pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
  • Prior call center experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical skills are expected, especially in URAC accredited areas.
