Amerita is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator to collect clinical documents, answer calls, greet visitors, and support clerical tasks across the pharmacy and corporate teams. The position requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations and patient care, with occasional weekend or evening work as needed to cover

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years pharmacy or healthcare-related experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of pharmacy terminology and process.
  • Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively across pharmacy and/or corporate teams and with patients, and successfully resolves issues.
  • Tracking all pharmacy documentation and entering into EMR system as necessary.
  • Answers incoming calls.
  • Takes messages and transfers callers to the designated party when applicable.
  • Greets guests.
  • Handles incoming mail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage

**To perform this role will require constant sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occaasionally standing, and walking. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs**
