Job summary

Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator in Charlottesville to collect clinical documents, answer calls, greet visitors, and support clerical tasks. You will track documentation and enter information into the EMR system to keep patient records up to date.

Qualifications include a HS diploma (associates/bachelor’s preferred), 1+ year of pharmacy or healthcare experience, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Overview

The Pharmacy Coordinator will be responsible for the collection of clinical supporting documents needed to care for our patients, including, but not limited to: laboratory results, signed written orders, assignment of benefits, and ongoing clinical documentation. The Pharmacy Coordinator answers incoming phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate person. This role is responsible for greeting all visitors, directing visitors to the appropriate person or location and assisting with miscellaneous clerical duties.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Working Conditions Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage

**To perform this role will require constant sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occaasionally standing, and walking. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs**
