Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to join our Pharmacy department in a fast-paced retail setting. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, accurate handling of prescriptions, and efficient operations within the pharmacy area.

Qualifications

• Must follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data; interview to obtain information; guide people.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
• Greet customers and learn their names; address them by name when possible.
• Assist customers by guiding them to products, loading items, and taking notes on requests.
• Answer telephone promptly and deliver helpful service to customers.
• Maintain stocked pharmacy supplies and accurately log invoices and orders.
