Job summary

Hy-Vee Shawnee is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support daily pharmacy operations. You will assist customers, process refills, manage stock, and handle cash transactions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and a welcoming store atmosphere.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Night and weekend shifts are included as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist customers including refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock products and supplies and keep pharmacy area well stocked.
• Process cash transactions accurately.
• Assist in providing vaccines where certified; coordinate deliveries and mail-outs as needed.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
