Job summary

Hy-Vee Davenport is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support daily operations in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. You will greet customers, assist with prescriptions, handle cash transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized space while protecting patient confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and vaccination certification if administering vaccines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout a shift and handle prescriptions under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service in the pharmacy.
• Assist in stocking and ordering supplies and processing cash transactions.
• Gather patient information for prescriptions and ensure confidentiality of medical data.
• Support pharmacists and staff to keep the pharmacy clean, organized and compliant.
• Coordinate with nursing homes for medicines as needed and assist with vaccine administration where allowed.
