Job summary

ShopRite of Bordentown in Bordentown, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support the Pharmacy Department with cash register operation, customer service, stocking and cleaning to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

This role requires strong English communication, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic math proficiency. You will interact with customers, manage prescriptions, and help maintain compliance and safety in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately ring prescription sales.
• Collect payment and provide correct change.
• Comply with pharmacy laws and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain security of the Pharmacy Department.
• Assist patients with prescriptions and general inquiries.
• Stock and organize pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
• Keep work area clean and safe; handle spills promptly.
