Qualifications

• Attention to detail in following written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills for handling cash and transactions.
• Ability to organize materials and manage patient information records.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service; greet customers, learn their names, and make interactions positive.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist with refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received products and supplies and keep pharmacy stocked.
• Review unpicked prescriptions as directed by management.
• Arrange product and supplies and review invoices on receipt.
• Log invoices and complete cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare paperwork and medicines for delivery and mail-outs.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines as necessary.
• Administer vaccines where allowed by law with required certification.
• Maintain cleanliness and confidentiality; uphold Hy-Vee policies.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
