Pharmacy Clerk (302) (Finance)

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to handle confidential information

- Any previous comparable experience
- Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier roles
- Experience with inventory control in a retail environment
Responsibilities
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
- Follow all safety and sanitation regulations and identify unsafe conditions
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas
- Follow company guidelines on computerized inventory management and control of non-legend drugs
- Perform inventory control tasks, including shelf maintenance
- Answer phones, triage calls, and respond to inquiries
- Promote sales and services to customers and staff
- Adhere to guidelines on accepting vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink reduction
- Operate cash register following all policies, including handling electronic transactions and cash/check payments
- Ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of products, adhering to state laws
- Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient information
- Support health and wellness initiatives
- Work effectively in high-paced and stressful environments
- Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively
- Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
