Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to handle confidential information

Desired Qualifications:

  • Any previous comparable experience
  • Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier
  • Experience with inventory control in a retail environment

Responsibilities include:

  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud
  • Follow safety and sanitation regulations and identify unsafe conditions
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers
  • Maintain departmental standards, including cleanliness and organization
  • Follow guidelines on inventory management and control
  • Answer calls and assist customers as appropriate
  • Promote sales and services
  • Adhere to company policies on coupons, cash handling, and loss prevention
  • Operate cash register and process transactions securely
  • Provide a positive customer experience during product and medication dispensing, where applicable
  • Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies
  • Support health and wellness initiatives
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts effectively
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
