Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives in Utah. The role requires ensuring HIPAA compliance, handling confidential data, and assisting pharmacists with dispensing and data entry while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will maintain licensure, support CLIA-waived screenings where allowed, and ensure all safety and sanitation standards are met in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current state or national registration, certification or licensure as required.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Provide excellent customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Support training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data matches records.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and apps.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings per laws and company policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as permitted.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
