MCS Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to oversee clinical interventions and coordinate with beneficiaries, providers, and pharmacies to promote adherence and improve STAR ratings.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Pharmacy Tech, at least 1 year in community or institutional pharmacies, a valid license, and knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes. Spanish advanced and English basic are required; Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in Pharmacy Technician.
• 1 year of experience in community or institutional pharmacies.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician License and Registration.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Spanish – Advanced; English – Basic.

• Participates in clinical interventions management with beneficiaries and providers related to high-impact quality measures.
• Identifies patients not adhering to medication therapy to improve adherence and STAR ratings.
• Performs clinical interventions for clients with adherence impact on STAR Ratings.
• Participates in initiatives to improve medication adherence with beneficiaries or physicians.
• Administers and documents interventions in Rx Effects and Aspect VIA.
• Educates and supports patients to obtain prescribed medications per criteria.
• Manages referral process for adherence-related refills and new prescriptions.
• Complies with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
