Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Pharmacy Benefits Specialist for an onsite role in Salt Lake City, UT. The position combines call center support with pharmacy claims administration, with potential for conversion to a permanent role after six months.

Pay starts at $21.00/hour and may increase by $2–3 upon conversion. A hybrid schedule may be possible after one year, contingent on performance. Training is onsite for six weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in call center customer service, healthcare or insurance is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from members, providers, and internal teams.
• Assist with pharmacy benefits, coverage questions, and claims resolution.
• Process pharmacy claims and maintain accurate documentation.
• Research and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Educate customers on benefits, coverage, and plan guidelines.
• Navigate multiple systems while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Mentor teammates and support training when needed.
