Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Automation Coordinator to lead the automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) system, ensuring compliant and efficient medication distribution.

You will manage controlled substance inventory, resolve discrepancies, and liaise with Nursing and the ADC vendor to troubleshoot and implement system improvements. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to train staff on ADC operations and compliance

Qualifications

• Two years of recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state where you work.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Experience with automated hospital pharmacy procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ADC system daily operations and security.
• Maintain accurate controlled substances inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Act as liaison between Nursing, ADC vendor, and Pharmacy for problem-solving.
• Produce ADC reports and ensure compliance with CII records and storage.
