Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs seeks a Pharmacy Automation Coordinator to lead the ADC segment of the medication distribution system. You will manage controlled substance inventory, monitor usage, investigate discrepancies, and serve as the primary liaison between the ADC vendor and Nursing for problem solving.

You will ensure ADC system accuracy, compliance, and ongoing quality improvement, collaborating with nursing and vendors to support safe, efficient medication distribution.

Qualifications

• High School GED or equivalent
• Two years of recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician: AR, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Monitors controlled substances, documents discrepancies, and alerts leadership.
• Liaises between Nursing and Pharmacy for problem solving and coordinates with the ADC vendor.
• Produces ADC compare reports and maintains storage records for CII substances.
• Maintains accurate inventory of all controlled substances.
• Handles compliant sales to internal and external departments and troubleshoots ADC systems.
