Job summary

You will partner with pharmacy, nursing, and IT teams to improve inventory accuracy and workflow, focusing on central replenishment via automated dispensing cabinets.

The role requires strong communication, two years of experience as a pharmacy technician, and MI licensure.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• MI pharmacy technician licensure is required.
• Experience with automated dispensing systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated dispensing systems and user profiles.
• Support automation implementations and coordinate with vendors/IT.
• Monitor medication discrepancies with Nursing Management and assist resolution.
• Run and interpret automation and controlled substance reports.
• Contribute to projects improving workflows and efficiency.
• Provide core pharmacy technician services as needed.
