ShopRite of Neptune in Neptune, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to deliver great customer experiences in the Pharmacy Department. Responsibilities include cashiering, prescription processing, stocking, and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.

The role requires 18+ years of age, basic math, ability to read and follow HIPAA and drug laws, and strong customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to work all assigned schedules and adhere to attendance policies.
• Ability to proficiently use computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately ring the sale of prescriptions.
• Collect payment and provide correct change.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws applicable to pharmacy operations.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of patient information.
• Answer phones in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Take prescriptions and verify customer details.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals as directed by Pharmacist.
• Assist customers in locating over-the-counter items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
