Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Health Benefits Consultant to support consulting projects for employer prospects and clients. You will assist with PBM financial modeling and draft client deliverables for review by Senior Pharmacy Consultants.

You will work with senior consultants to develop client strategies, research industry issues, and manage projects and meetings for timely, high-quality outcomes. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in actuarial, underwriting, pricing or consulting in Health & Welfare.
• Working knowledge of commercial health insurance industry and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial modeling of PBM financial proposals.
• Prepare first draft of new business and client deliverables for review by Senior Pharmacy Consultant.
• Work with Senior Pharmacy Consultants and other health benefit consultants to support client strategy development.
• Research issues of concern to large employers in the pharmacy industry, summarize findings for review.
• Manage projects and use appropriate tools to ensure on-time, quality deliverables.
• Schedule and manage weekly/bi-weekly status meetings.
• Collaborate with client teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity in agency management system.
