Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking a Pharmacy Analytics Consultant to support Pharmacy and Medical Drug information needs using a range of analytic tools. You will collaborate with clinical, financial, sales, and leadership teams to drive strategy, compliance, and affordability objectives across the enterprise.

The role involves delivering actionable insights, presenting information to senior management and customers, and developing standardized reporting to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field; minimum two years of data analytics experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAS or Cognos and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in healthcare data analytics and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on projects and lead initiatives to meet business objectives.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Provide analytics and consulting to Pharmacy and Health Plan stakeholders to improve affordability and outcomes.
