Job summary

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the admixture room, assist in compounding/admixing medications under physician supervision, and ensure accurate documentation and inventory control. You will verify orders, maintain logs, and help with billing and department automation.

The role requires 2–3 years of pharmacy tech experience, knowledge of pharmacy calculations, and a certification preferred or obtained within the first year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of pharmacy technician or related health care experience.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacy calculations and related medical technology.
• Certification as Pharmacy Technician preferred or required within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under physician supervision.
• Verify patient information and physician authorization for orders.
• Admix drugs accurately and in a timely manner per guidelines and OSHA procedures.
• Maintain accurate medication logs, lot numbers and temperature records.
