Amerita, Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Coordinator to collect clinical documents, answer calls, greet visitors, and perform clerical duties in a on-site setting in Colorado. The role supports pharmacy and corporate teams and ensures documentation is accurately tracked in the EMR system.
The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, and experience in pharmacy or healthcare; strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills are valued. Some weekend/evening work may be required.
The Pharmacy Coordinator will be responsible for the collection of clinical supporting documents needed to care for our patients, including, but not limited to: laboratory results, signed written orders, assignment of benefits, and ongoing clinical documentation. The Pharmacy Coordinator answers incoming phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate person. This role is responsible for greeting all visitors, directing visitors to the appropriate person or location and assisting with miscellaneous clerical duties.

Working Conditions Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage
To perform this role will require constant sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occaasionally standing, and walking. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs
