Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Navigator to provide patient access services, guidance, and coordination to ensure timely therapy. You will work with clinic staff, physicians, and payers to facilitate benefits verification and prior authorizations, while maintaining strong relationships with clients to support service delivery.

Location: Onsite at 379 Dixmyth Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45220. Hours: 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy technician with 1–3 years of experience.
• Active licensed/certified pharmacy technician in the relevant state.
• Experience with prior authorizations and copay assistance.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word & Excel) and ability to learn new software.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison services for patients requiring high-cost retail prescription therapies, focusing on navigation of access and affordability barriers; process prior authorizations and route prescriptions.
• Provide subject matter expertise in retail pharmacy prescription access and collaborate with staff and leadership to identify process improvements.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned clinics for high-cost access and affordability; document communications in EHR/dispensing systems.
• Educate providers and clinic staff on prescription fulfillment value and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Work with the client pharmacy to deliver prescriptions and contribute to KPI tracking for quality improvement.
• Participate in client/clinic meetings and lead discussions on prescription access as needed.
