Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Navigator to support patient access services and medication therapy across health system clinics in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves working with office staff to verify benefits, coordinate prior authorizations, and refer patients to the appropriate pharmacy within established processes.

This full-time position requires licensed pharmacy technicians with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy technician license in the corresponding state is required.
• Experience in prior authorizations and copay assistance is preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison services for patients navigating high-cost prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate with providers, staff, and payers to facilitate access and affordability.
• Serve as primary contact for prescription access within assigned clinics.
• Educate providers and patients on medication fulfillment through the health system pharmacy.
• Support delivery of prescriptions to patients and contribute to KPI reporting.
• Participate in client and clinic meetings and drive process improvements.
• Provide coverage during extended hours and remote work as needed.
• Work onsite in Cincinnati, with possible remote support as dictated.
