Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for a remote role focused on patient onboarding, benefits verification, prior authorizations, and PAP submissions. You will work with health system ambulatory and specialty pharmacy environments to ensure timely reimbursement and prescription fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has a CPhT certification, 2+ years of related experience, and familiarity with insurance processing.

Qualifications

• CPhT certification is required.
• 2+ years of directly related or relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree program preferred or equivalent.
• Experience with insurance/claims processing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Onboard patients and verify benefits; obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Coordinate with health system pharmacies to facilitate prescription fulfillment.
• Obtain insurance benefits and PAP information for reimbursement.
• Maintain PAP documentation and complete required signatures for submissions.
• Support adherence activities and track prescription delivery.
