Job summary

Cencora seeks a Patient Services Liaison to be the primary contact for ambulatory pharmacy access and affordability services across clinics in Hanford, Reedley, and Bakersfiled, CA.

You will handle prior authorizations, identify patient assistance, coordinate with patients, providers, staff, and payers, and educate about prescription fulfillment. This role requires a certified pharmacy tech with strong organization and communication skills, plus flexibility for extended hours.

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy technician experience 1–3 years.
• Active pharmacy technician licensure/certification in the corresponding state.
• Experience with prior authorizations and copay assistance programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to quickly learn other systems and programs (pharmacy dispensing software, electronic health records).
• High level of organization and quality communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison services for patients requiring high-cost retail prescription therapies and infusion therapies.
• Process prior authorizations and route prescriptions to appropriate pharmacy.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, staff, pharmacy and payers.
• Educate providers, clinic staff and patients on prescription fulfillment value.
• Maintain documentation in electronic health records and dispensing systems.
• Contribute to KPI reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support clinics with extended hours and remote work as needed.
