Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a 340B Analyst to support the 340B team through compliance monitoring and program expertise. The analyst may be assigned to retail, mixed use, or specialty areas to perform audits and monitor compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs.

• Must have completed the 340b Drug Pricing Program.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Georgia.
• PTCB Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs audits and compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs.
• Reviews eligibility of targeted drugs purchased under the program.
• Maintains communication with wholesalers, pharmacists, health care staff, administrators, and community pharmacists.

Job Summary

The 340B Analyst supports the 340B team primarily through compliance monitoring and expertise of the 340B program. The analyst may primarily be assigned to retail, mixed use, or specialty areas to perform audits and monitor compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs. Job related experience including being a pharmacy technician, having a 340B ACE certification or a business background is beneficial but not required.

• Performs audits and compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs.
• Reviews eligibility of targeted drugs that are purchased under the program.
• Maintains communication with wholesalers, pharmacists, health care staff, administrators and community pharmacists.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED Certification with one of the following and two years successful hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience:
  • Completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy technician-training program
  • Completed a pharmacy technician training program externship at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
  • Completed a pharmacy technician cross training program at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
  • Have one (1) year of experience at Grady Health System in a pharmacy
  • Have one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy outside of Grady Health System
• Must have completed the 340b Drug Pricing Program
• Must be a Registered Technician with the State of Georgia by
• Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certification preferred
• Organization and accurate record keeping skills
• Basic computer data entry skills required and typing approximately 30 wpm
