Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a 340B Analyst to support the 340B team with compliance monitoring and program expertise. The analyst may focus on retail, mixed-use, or specialty areas to audit and assess compliance of internal and external programs.

Experience as a pharmacy technician, 340B ACE certification, or a business background is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Completed an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• Externship with Grady Health System recommended by preceptor.
• Cross-training program at Grady Health System with preceptor recommendation.
• One year of experience in a Grady Health System pharmacy.
• One year of experience in a pharmacy outside Grady Health System.
• Must have completed the 340b Drug Pricing Program.
• Must be a Registered Technician with the State of Georgia.
• Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certification preferred.
• Strong organization and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer data entry skills and typing ~30 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Performs audits and compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs.
• Reviews eligibility of targeted drugs that are purchased under the program.
• Maintains communication with wholesalers, pharmacists, health care staff, administrators and community pharmacists.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED Certification with one of the following and two years successful hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience: Completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy technician-training program
• Completed a pharmacy technician training program externship at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
• Completed a pharmacy technician cross training program at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
• Have one (1) year of experience at Grady Health System in a pharmacy
• Have one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy outside of Grady Health System
• Must have completed the 340b Drug Pricing Program
• Must be a Registered Technician with the State of Georgia by
• Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certification preferred
