Job summary

The Financial and Contracts Analyst at Grady Health System will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, contracts, and reimbursement activities related to the pharmacy department. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field required.
  • Three (3) or more years of job related experience including financial or contracts experience in Healthcare or related preferred.

Job Summary
SUMMARY:

The Financial and Contracts Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, contracts, and reimbursement activities related to the pharmacy department. The position will support financial reporting, strategic decision making, contract assessments, and monitors compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements. The analyst will work closely with pharmacy, finance, supply chain, external vendors, and other stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance_40%
  • Analyze pharmacy financial data including budgets, expenses, and reimbursement trends.
  • Partner with pharmacy leadership, finance, and procurement to optimize financial performance.
  • Monitor and reconcile invoices and payments related to pharmacy including drug spend, reimbursements, rebates, and 340B program activities.
Contracts_35%
  • Prepare reports on key performance indicators, cost savings opportunities, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain vendor relationship and accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and related correspondence.
  • Review, manage, and negotiate pharmacy contracts, including manufacturer agreements, group purchasing organization contracts, and payor agreements.
Operations/Financial Planning_25%
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes for pharmacy operations.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in pharmacy finances and recommend improvements.
  • Support audits and regulatory compliance initiatives related to pharmacy contracts and financial operations.

Additional duties as assigned.
