Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a 340B Analyst to support the 340B team with compliance monitoring and program audits. The analyst may focus on retail, mixed use, or specialty areas, performing audits and assessments to validate internal and external processes.

Pharmacy technician experience or a 340B ACE certification are beneficial but not required. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and familiarity with data entry; state of Georgia pharmacy technician certification is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certification with one of the following and two years successful hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience.
• ASHP accredited pharmacy technician-training program completed.
• Grady Health System externship with recommendation from Grady preceptor.
• Grady Health System cross training program with recommendation from Grady preceptor.
• One year of experience at Grady Health System in a pharmacy or one year of experience in a pharmacy outside Grady Health System.
• Must have completed the 340b Drug Pricing Program.
• Registered Technician with the State of Georgia; PTCB certification preferred.
• Strong organization and accurate record keeping skills.
• Basic computer data entry skills and typing around 30 wpm.]

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The analyst may primarily be assigned to retail, mixed use, or specialty areas to perform audits and monitor compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs. Job related experience including being a pharmacy technician, having a 340B ACE certification or a business background is beneficial but not required.

• Performs audits and compliance assessments to validate processes of internal and external programs.
• Reviews eligibility of targeted drugs that are purchased under the program
• Maintains communication with wholesalers, pharmacists, health care staff, administrators and community pharmacists.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED Certification with one of the following and two years successful hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience:

• Completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy technician-training program
• Completed a pharmacy technician training program externship at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
• Completed a pharmacy technician cross training program at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
• Have one (1) year of experience at Grady Health System in a pharmacy
• Have one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy outside of Grady Health System
• Must have completed the 340b Drug Pricing Program
• Must be a Registered Technician with the State of Georgia by Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certification preferred
• Organization and accurate record keeping skills
• Basic computer data entry skills required and typing approximately 30 wpm
