Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist II - Pharmacokinetics for per diem coverage. This position focuses on PK/TDM workflows within a high-complexity clinical laboratory, with opportunities to lead methods validation and staff training.

The role involves DNA extraction, PCR, real-time PCR, and LCMS/GCMS operations, performing routine QA/QC, and supporting lab operations across shifts Wednesday-Saturday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or equivalent education as defined by 42 CFR 493.1489(b)(3)(ii).
• Must meet CLIA education requirements for high complexity testing.
• Knowledge of PK/TDM or PGx with clinical/lab experience.

Responsabilités

• Review, verify, or audit PK/TDM test results.
• Lead projects and validations of equipment, reagents, and processes.
• Perform DNA extraction, PCR setup, real-time PCR, and DNA sequencing reactions.
• Operate and troubleshoot GCMS/LCMS and QuantStudio instruments.
• Instruct and train new staff and trainees in routine procedures.
• Maintain laboratory QA/QC programs and SI documentation.
