Job summary

CVS Health Retail is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team and support the Pharmacy Manager in leading the pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, and helping to immunize where permissible, while maintaining patient safety and high service levels.

You will supervise the pharmacy team during shifts, uphold regulatory requirements, and partner with the total healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as the pharmacist-on-duty and coach staff.
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients; provide immunizations where permissible.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
