Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy operations and ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and act as proxy during shifts.
• Manage day-to-day duties in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and follow safety procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and resolve coverage/medication issues with insurers.
• Provide immunizations and support technicians in immunization training.
• Manage inventory with a focus on cold chain products.
• Maintain compliance with state boards and CVS policies; escalate issues when needed.
• Assist with scheduling and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment.
• Maintain clinical/technical skills and participate in trainings and CMEs.
• Support access to care by offering clinical services where permissible; collaborate with the care team.
