Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead and support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and quality patient care within our retail locations. The role includes dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations while maintaining strong patient relationships.

You will assist the Pharmacy Manager, oversee day-to-day operations, manage inventory, and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the only or the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, and coaching the pharmacy team to do the same.
