Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a licensed pharmacist to perform the full scope of professional pharmacy duties. The role is night shift, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, with alternating weekends and holidays and requires flexibility to work weekends.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or PharmD), NYS license, and at least three years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a Pharmacy residency. CE credits and ongoing competence are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or Doctor of Pharmacy).
• PharmD or MS degree and/or completion of Pharmacy Residency Program may substitute for some experience.
• Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration.
• Minimum of three years’ hospital pharmacist experience or completion of Pharmacy residency.
• Maintains professional competence through continuing education and 15 CE credits yearly.
