Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in New York, NY seeks a licensed hospital pharmacist to perform the full scope of professional practice with independent judgment. The role requires night shifts from 12 midnight to 8:00am and weekend work every other weekend.

Candidates should hold a NYS pharmacist license, have a PharmD or BS/MS with residency experience, and bring at least three years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a residency. CE credits must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or Doctor of Pharmacy).
• PharmD or MS degree and/or completion of Pharmacy Residency Program may be used as a substitute for some experience.
• Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a pharmacist in hospital setting or completion of Pharmacy residency.
• Maintains professional competence through continuing education programs and review of periodical literature.
• Maintains and provides proof of 15 Continuing Education credits each year.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
